Meg Teele Rothberg
Director
Meg's father came to the lake in 1944 from New York City after his service in the Navy. In search of a rustic retreat, he purchased a parcel of 4 small islands, then owned by Mr Masters, Pete Trouant’s grandfather. He built the “red camp” with the help of Forrest Gillespie and Trapper Lombard. He returned for many years thereafter with his family. When he passed away in 1986, he left the Islands in his daughters Meg and Beth's care. In 1991 another cabin was built on the larger island to accommodate the growing Teele and Rothberg family. In 2017, Meg and her husband purchased a year round home on the mainland shore of
Meddybemps Lake, allowing them to spend more off-season time there. Meg’s Board Role includes outreach and fundraising.
