Murray point Trail

Butler point Trail

Butler Point Trail begins at the end of Butler Point Rd and extends into Butler Point for roughly ¼ mile (0.4 km). Another lovely spot to kayak up to. In fact some of Maine's finest fishing guides donated the picnic table here years ago as the perfect spot to enjoy a lunch after a wonderful morning boating on Meddybemps Lake.

Ryan Lake Trail

Ryan Lake Trail - The Ryan Lake Trail is 0.9 mile (1.45 km) long, with 0.6mile  (0.97 km) on MLLT property. Runs through the upper parcel of MLLT and out to Ryan Lake. We recommend this as a wonderful kayak beaching spot to paddle up and explore along the trail.

Discover the beauty of nature as you come out and explore our three amazing trails (RED).

Below are descriptions of Murray Point Trail,  Butler Point Trail and Ryan Lake Trail.

Each trail offers unique scenery, from lush forests to stunning vistas of the lake. Whether you're an experienced hiker or just looking for a leisurely stroll, there's something for everyone. Get ready to immerse yourself in the great outdoors!

Ryan Lake Trail

Ryan Lake Trail - The Ryan Lake Trail is 0.9 mile (1.45 km) long, with 0.6mile  (0.97 km) on MLLT property. Runs through the upper parcel of MLLT and out to Ryan Lake.  This Trail is on the upper parcel and the trail entrance is on Staples Rd. This is also a wonderful kayak paddle, landing on the Sunset Cove side and exploring the trail to Staples Rd.  We are thankful the Sunrise Snowmobile Club helps maintain the Ryan Lake Trail and is the only MLLT trail that allows snowmobiles.
