Woodland Elementary Students Help Restore Native Chestnut Trees at the MLLT
On Thursday, May 15th, students in grades 2-4 from the Woodland Elementary School joined board members of the Meddybemps Lake Land Trust, along with school staff and other volunteers, to plant 40 native American chestnut saplings on the land trust property off the Staples Road in Baileyville. MLLT Recieves Parking Lot Grant from Northern Forest Center and L.L.BEAN
MLLT recieved a generous grant from Northern Forest Center for Community Recreation and L.L.Bean for work on a parking area in 2023.
