Our First Trails! Murray Point Trail, Butler Point Trail & Sunset Cove Trail

President Cary James and Board Member Jeff Orchard have been hard at work! Thanks to Cary and Jeff, we have three cleared trails on the MLLT land parcels (trails shown above in red, borders of MLLT Land in green, existing roads/trails in blue). These trails are currently for walking use only as we do not allow motorized vehicles on site unless engaged in work for the land trust. Stay tuned for our clean up and clearing plans next spring and summer - we are always looking for volunteers to share this beautiful land with.

Current Trails:

• Sunset Cove Trail- The Sunset Cove Trail noted as Ryan Lake Trail on this map is 0.9 mile (1.45 km) long, with 0.6mile (0.97 km) on MLLT property.

• Butler Point Trail - Begins at the end of Butler Point Rd and extends into Butler Point for roughly ¼ mile (0.4 km).

• Murray Point Trail - Begins on Butler Rd, runs parallel to Murray Point Rd out onto Murray Point, approximately ¾ mile (1.21 km).
